Born to a British father and Xhosa mother, Mandisa grew up in Lesotho, England and South Africa. Mandisa always knew she was destined for stage and film. She studied drama and music at high school and got her diploma in performing arts from the University of Cape Town.

She performed in 2 major West End musicals, Kat & the Kings, a South African musical that won a prestigious Lawrence Olivier award for best cast in a musical, and Disney’s The Lion King on London’s prestigious West End.

Mandisa has been cast in voice overs for clients like Jet, Telkom and Outsurance. She loves to read and has been told she has a beautiful voice for radio:-)
