Abena Ayivor is an actor, screenwriter, and voiceover artist of mixed African descent. She is based in South Africa and has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, locally and internationally. Highlights of her career include playing President Bibi Mundanzi in the BBC/Netflix series, BLACK EARTH RISING as well as headwriting the MTV youth series, SHUGA DOWN SOUTH.

Antony Coleman is a celebrated and award winning South African actor, with over thirty years of experience in the industry. Anelisa trained at UCT, and has enjoyed a diverse career ranging from international series to Shakespeare, having played both Hamlet and a Netflix villain in 2021. She has presented numerous television magazine programs, and has been an arts & entertainment reviewer, presenter and newscaster for 5fm, Classic 102.7, SAFM, and LM radio.

Benita is an Actor, Director, Communications Coach, Voice Artist and Co-Founder of The Young Actors Studio CT.  She graduated with a BA (Honours) Drama degree. Benita is passionate about storytelling and working with individuals to find their “inner magic”.  She is inspired daily by the wonder and talents of her 3 beautiful children, her goofy fur child, Kira and her brilliant husband.

Bianca Amato is an award-winning actress, audiobook narrator, director, and teacher based in Johannesburg and New York City. She has received two Audie Awards, and 14 Audiofile awards, including two for Best Voice for Classics and Fiction, for her audiobooks. Bianca has worked in film and television and extensively in theatre in the USA.

Buhle Ngaba is a multi-award winning South African actor, writer and speaker. She studied Acting and Contemporary performance at Rhodes University and Processes of Performance at the University of Leeds (UK). In 2016, Ngaba was awarded the Brett Goldin Bursary, which earned her opportunity to expand her knowledge of Shakespeare and acting ability at The Royal Shakespeare Company (Stratford-Upon-Avon).

Camilla Waldman completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Drama and a Performers Diploma at The University of Cape Town in 1990. It is her joy to be an actor in the mediums of theatre, television, and film, alongside her work as a teacher, supporting emerging and working actors in the South African industry.

Carla Classen is an accomplished South African actor who has experience working in both film and theatre. Her most notable appearances to date are in the Afrikaans film Stroomop (2018) and as a lead on the telenovela The Estate on SABC 3 playing Tessa van Wyk. 

Carlos Amato was born in 1976 in Cape Town, and later reappeared in Johannesburg. He's an award-winning political cartoonist, but he also narrates, illustrates, writes and pontificates.

Chris is a Swiss born, South African raised Congolese actor, writer, director and theatre maker. He trained at The Market Theatre Laboratory. He hopes that his curiosity for acting and storytelling leads him to further explore, reflect and interrogate humanity in all its shades while also bringing hope, light and joy to those who engage with him and his work.

Christel is an actor, singer and voice artist based in Johannesburg with 15 years experience in the entertainment industry. Originally from the DR Congo, she’s fluent in French, English, Afrikaans knows several African dialects and is adept at various accents. Her eclectic background and exposure to multiple cultures make her a natural mimic, adding to her versatility as a performer.

Daniel Janks was born in 1977 and is still not dead. Janks has appeared in many of South Africa’s most popular TV dailies and drama series, as well as numerous international television projects. Janks also works extensively in both the local and international film market. 

Dawid has worked extensively on stage, television, radio and film in South Africa. He toured internationally with three Handspring Puppet Company/William Kentridge productions and performed in A Lesson from Aloes under the direction of Janet Suzman at the Finborough Theater in London in 2019. Dorothy Ann Gould is one of South Africa's most respected actresses; her multiple award-winning career has taken her to America, Europe and the United Kingdom. Fezile Mpela is an award winning stage, film and television actor. A multi-lingual voice-over artist for both corporate and commercial mediums in English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Sesotho and Setswana, Fezile has lent his voice to local and international productions such as Kirikou and the Sorcerer and Disney’s Zulu translation of The Lion King as the older Simba.

Fiona Ramsay is one of South Africa’s leading actresses, working locally and overseas. A doyenne of the South African performing arts industry, over the course of 40 years her award-winning professional career has successfully spanned across film, television and theatre. She is also a lecturer at Wits University and is the founder of Speakeasy Vocal Academy where she specialises as a dialogue and dialect coach and runs vocal empowerment workshops.

Getmore became a household name for his work on South African TV and has also performed in international movies including Le Lion, A Small Town Called Descent, and Blood and Oil. Kevin Smith is an award-winning actor, director, and presenter with a career that spans more than three decades. He is fluent in English as well as Afrikaans and is just as comfortable on stage as he is in front of the cameras or in front of a microphone.

Kim Jansen is a South African TV presenter, professional emcee, speaker and voice over artist. She has completed a B Commerce in Marketing from the Witwatersrand university of South Africa and Entrepreneurial MBA from the Joseph Business School accredited by USA accrediting council for continuing education and training. Loyiso MacDonald is a South African actor and voice artist best known for his breakout role as Ntando Sibeko in the SABC3 soap opera Isidingo. Other TV includes Zabalaza, Those Who Can't, Intersexions, Gold Diggers, The Queen, Rockville, and Madiba. Refilwe Madumo is an actor, writer, singer, voice-over artist, podcaster and content producer. She has been working professionally for over 15 years. She has contributed to the United Nations policy discussions regarding albinism in SADC countries, and has been a keynote speaker at international conferences. Her work advocates for diverse, equitable and inclusive representation in the media.

South African audiences will know Tessa Jubber for her work on Isidingo, The Girl From St Agnes, Skeem Saam, Is’phindiselo and Drum; and on radio as the voice behind many memorable brands. She trained as an actor at UCT drama school and now lives in Johannesburg with her husband and children.

Namatshego (Tshego) Khutsoane is a multi-hyphenate creative practitioner who has honed expertise in work across multiple performance and facilitation contexts for more than a decade, enjoying numerous awards and publications. Tshego has trained and specialised in Stage and Screen Acting, Theatre-Making & Directing, Applied Drama and Theatre Methodologies, and Voice studies. Alongside performance, Tshego works as an arts-activist and part-time tutor/lecturer.

Tshiamo Moretlwe graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2020 with a BA (Hons) in Theatre and Performance, with distinction. She was awarded the Dean’s Merit List from 2017 to 2020, and was the recipient of the Brett Goldin Memorial Cup for Acting in her final year. Her most recent work includes Ophelia in Janni Younge’s Hamlet.

Uveka Rangappa is a renowned South African journalist, news anchor, TV presenter and voice over artist. She has hosted shows and anchored prime time news on prominent radio stations such as Lotus FM, East Coast radio, Talk Radio 702 and 947 as well as on independent TV news channel eNCA.  She is an active philanthropist, and passionately supports the Rise Against Hunger charity organization.

Uvile Memory Samkelisiwe Ximba is a creator, maker of things. She is a multidisciplinary artist with experience in theatre, vocal performance, and literature. Uvile completed her Bachelor of Arts Honours in Politics and International Relations and Dramatic Arts at Rhodes University and currently practices as an independent theatre artist and writer.

In another life, Uvile was a cat. And she is currently obsessively questioning how oranges live and die.

Vanessa Cooke is an award winning performer and theatre workshop practitioner. She has performed in over 50 plays, and she has done voice work on radio, TV and for live theatre.
