Abena Ayivor is an actor, screenwriter, and voiceover artist of mixed African descent. She is based in South Africa and has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, locally and internationally. Highlights of her career include playing President Bibi Mundanzi in the BBC/Netflix series, BLACK EARTH RISING as well as headwriting the MTV youth series, SHUGA DOWN SOUTH.

Anne is a multi-camera director, producer, television consultant and presenter. She is the recipient of two Artes Awards, two Star Tonight Awards, and an NTVA Award. She was a finalist in the 2019 Liberty Radio Awards. She has presented numerous television magazine programs, and has been an arts & entertainment reviewer, presenter and newscaster for 5fm, Classic 102.7, SAFM, and LM radio.

Benita is an Actor, Director, Communications Coach, Voice Artist and Co-Founder of The Young Actors Studio CT.  She graduated with a BA (Honours) Drama degree. Benita is passionate about storytelling and working with individuals to find their “inner magic”.  She is inspired daily by the wonder and talents of her 3 beautiful children, her goofy fur child, Kira and her brilliant husband.

Bianca Amato is an award-winning actress, audiobook narrator, director, and teacher based in Johannesburg and New York City. She has received two Audie Awards, and 14 Audiofile awards, including two for Best Voice for Classics and Fiction, for her audiobooks. Bianca has worked in film and television and extensively in theatre in the USA.

Buhle Ngaba is a multi-award winning South African actor, writer and speaker. She studied Acting and Contemporary performance at Rhodes University and Processes of Performance at the University of Leeds (UK). In 2016, Ngaba was awarded the Brett Goldin Bursary, which earned her opportunity to expand her knowledge of Shakespeare and acting ability at The Royal Shakespeare Company (Stratford-Upon-Avon).

Camilla Waldman completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Drama and a Performers Diploma at The University of Cape Town in 1990. It is her joy to be an actor in the mediums of theatre, television, and film, alongside her work as a teacher, supporting emerging and working actors in the South African industry.

Carol Nuga is a Nigerian audio book narrator. . Her love for reading made the switch to audiobooks feel like a natural next step. She infuses her narrations with a rich voice, humour, and a perspective that bridges her pan-African roots and international adventures.

Carla Classen is an accomplished South African actor who has experience working in both film and theatre. Her most notable appearances to date are in the Afrikaans film Stroomop (2018) and as a lead on the telenovela The Estate on SABC 3 playing Tessa van Wyk. 

Christel is an actor, singer and voice artist based in Johannesburg with 15 years experience in the entertainment industry. Originally from the DR Congo, she’s fluent in French, English, Afrikaans knows several African dialects and is adept at various accents. Her eclectic background and exposure to multiple cultures make her a natural mimic, adding to her versatility as a performer.

Dorothy Ann Gould is one of South Africa's most respected actresses; her multiple award-winning career has taken her to America, Europe and the United Kingdom. Dorothy has read many novels for Tape Aids for the Blind and she was a regular on Springbok Radio. She voiced Mary Benson’s book A Far Cry (SABC) and she played Millie in Athol Fugard’s People are Living There for the B.B.C.

Esmeralda Bihl completed her drama diploma at Pretoria Technikon. Theatre highlights include roles in Athol Fugard's Valley Song, directed by Athol Fugard, The Cherry Orchard directed by Janet Suzman in the UK and Nothing but the Truth, with John Kani in New York and LA. With over 20 years’ experience, Esmeralda has performed in numerous theatre, television and film productions.

Fiona Ramsay is one of South Africa’s leading actresses, working locally and overseas. A doyenne of the South African performing arts industry, over the course of 40 years her award-winning professional career has successfully spanned across film, television and theatre. She is also a lecturer at Wits University and is the founder of Speakeasy Vocal Academy where she specialises as a dialogue and dialect coach and runs vocal empowerment workshops.

Gopala Davies is a South African actor and director best known for his role as Aarush in The Estate. Named one of the Top 5 South African Theatre Makers by SATMag, he is drawn to storytelling as a platform for collaboration, healing, reflection, and entertainment.

Ilse Klink is a well-known and loved South African actor, singer, and television personality, who obtained her BA Drama from Pretoria University. She has worked on various radio dramas for RSG, and is an accomplished voice over artist, working extensively in English and Afrikaans. She has been in the industry for 28 years, and has been involved in all disciplines of the acting fraternity.

JJ Mathura is a respected personality in the South African entertainment industry. Armed with two degrees in Arts and Education, she has been entertaining audiences for more than three decades, as an anchor, presenter and voice artist for radio and television. JJ is also a familiar television and film actor.

Jo da Silva became a household name due to an extensive career in the entertainment industry spanning 3 decades.  However, a prolific voice artist, Jo  always preferred the anonymity and intimacy of a voice booth. Throw in a lifelong love affair with books and book narration is Jo’s happy place.

Kate Normington is an award winning South African actress and voice over artist who has worked extensively in the theatre over the past thirty years, five of which were in Britain and the West End. Kate has recorded two albums and performs extensively in South African film and television.

Kensiwe Tshabalala is an award-nominated actress, voice-artist and performing artist who has performed on the stages of Europe, New York and Los Angeles. Kensiwe obtained her Musical Theatre Degree from the Tshwane University of Technology and her Master’s Degree in Acting for Film at the New York Film Academy. Her experience includes various voice-over, stage and television productions.

Kim Jansen is a South African TV presenter, professional emcee, speaker and voice over artist. She has completed a B Commerce in Marketing from the Witwatersrand university of South Africa and Entrepreneurial MBA from the Joseph Business School accredited by USA accrediting council for continuing education and training. She is also an experienced Copy and Content Writer, Content Producer, Marketing and Content Consultant and Copy Editor.

Lebo Mashile is an award-winning poet, performer, actress, presenter, playwright, and producer who has shared her poetry in 30 countries to date. Her poetry is taught in schools and tertiary institutions. She is also a recording artist, voice over artist and a widely sought after speaker and MC whose clients include corporate, government, festivals and academia. Her acting credits include both stage and screen.

A multicultural, multi-lingual melting pot, Lee Duru is a breakfast radio presenter, allowing her to fuel some of her creative passions, and access to her ever-obliging psychologist – music. For the rest of the time she lives vicariously through various characters as an on-screen actor, but comes back to earth with behind-the-scenes work because fantasies are for people with retirement annuities.

Lerato Mvelase studied drama at Wits university. She is known for her role as Katlego in the SABC drama Home Affairs, and the SABC comedy Home Sweet Home. Lerato has appeared in numerous theatre productions. Lerato is multilingual, speaking English, South Sotho, Tswana, Zulu and Xhosa fluently. She is also adept at accents.

Kgomotso ‘MoMo’ Matsunyane is an actor, playwright and director. She obtained an Honours Degree in Dramatic Arts from Wits University in 2012, majoring in Performance as well as Film and Television. She has performed in numerous plays, films, and television shows and has been nominated for and won several awards including for Hlakanyana, The Musical, which won 8 Naledi awards. Other highlights include Animal Farm, Have you seen Zandile, and Tsotsi The Musical.

Moshidi Motshegwa has been working as an actress for over 25 years. Her work spans television, film, theatre and radio, both here at home in South Africa and internationally. Moshidi is an avid reader, a lover of stories and storytellers, and currently works as a voice over artist. Reading brings her joy and connects her to the world of others.

Natasha Sutherland’s childhood memories are mostly of books her mother read to her. Thanks to this, her love for creative narration has had her professionally active in that arena for over 30 years. Well-known as a theatre and screen actress, and public speaker, she has also published three books, and written for TV and theatre- including a play adaptation for which she received an Mbokodo Award.

Rami is a mother, singer, actress, musical director, radio host, voice-over artist, speaker and author. A popular face on national TV, she has featured in Giyani- Land Of Blood, How To Ruin Christmas, ISONO, The Queen, Harvest, Muvhango, 7de Laan, Abomzala, It’s Complicated, Scandal!, Inkaba and Backstage, to name a few. She has published a memoir, We Kissed The Sun And Embraced The Moon, and is currently writing her second book.

Refilwe Madumo is an actor, writer, singer, voice-over artist, podcaster and content producer. She has been working professionally for over 15 years. Acting credits include Scandal!; Side Dish; Omen; Inconceivable and currently Generations The Legacy. She is also the former editor of Rise Magazine and head-writer of Rise TV Talk Show. She obtained a Master's degree in Applied Theatre.

Rika Sennett Studied drama at Stellenbosch University, and has worked professionally in the performing arts since 1972, as an actress and presenter, in all the media: theatre, film, television and radio, including several book readings for RSG - SABC.

Rorisang Motuba is an actress and writer currently based in Johannesburg. After years studying film and literature, her work has seen her star in and develop theatre shows as well as film and television productions. As a passionate thespian, her talents have led her to the fortune of participating in storytelling that is both bold and liberating.

Serah Adeola Johnson is a Nigerian professional and versatile voice talent with over six years of experience.

She is also a facilitator at the VoiceOver Academy, Africa’s pioneering institution for voiceover training, where she teaches voice acting for animation and character interpretation.

Sarah is an actress, singer and voice artist based in Johannesburg. She is an accomplished voice over artist and works for local and international clients. Her experience includes a wide range of voice-overs, as well as stage and television productions.

Shelley Meskin is an award-winning South African actress having much experience on stage, screen and radio. She began her voice career in commercials and television trailers and soon found herself in Radio dramas and comedies and fell in love with the art of audiobook story telling. Her audiobook work includes both adult and children’s books, having had experience in both genres on stage and screen.

Tailyn Ramsamy completed his BA (Honours) in Theatre and Performance at the University of Cape Town. He is an actor, voice-over artist and director with 13 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He hopes to leave a mark in the industry by constantly challenging the structures created in the past and being created now, in order to produce relevant, innovative art.

Thando is currently a cultural leader at the World Economic Forum. A Writer, Diversity Advocate and International Model, she has written for Allure, Pirelli and Bizcommunity, and graced the covers of Vogue Magazine, Marie Claire and Glamour. She has contributed to the United Nations policy discussions regarding albinism in SADC countries, and has been a keynote speaker at international conferences. Her work advocates for diverse, equitable and inclusive representation in the media.

South African audiences will know Tessa Jubber for her work on Isidingo, The Girl From St Agnes, Skeem Saam, Is’phindiselo and Drum; and on radio as the voice behind many memorable brands. She trained as an actor at UCT drama school and now lives in Johannesburg with her husband and children.

Namatshego (Tshego) Khutsoane is a multi-hyphenate creative practitioner who has honed expertise in work across multiple performance and facilitation contexts for more than a decade, enjoying numerous awards and publications. Tshego has trained and specialised in Stage and Screen Acting, Theatre-Making & Directing, Applied Drama and Theatre Methodologies, and Voice studies. Alongside performance, Tshego works as an arts-activist and part-time tutor/lecturer.

Tshiamo Moretlwe graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2020 with a BA (Hons) in Theatre and Performance, with distinction. She was awarded the Dean’s Merit List from 2017 to 2020, and was the recipient of the Brett Goldin Memorial Cup for Acting in her final year. Her most recent work includes Ophelia in Janni Younge’s Hamlet.

Uveka Rangappa is a renowned South African journalist, news anchor, TV presenter and voice over artist. She has hosted shows and anchored prime time news on prominent radio stations such as Lotus FM, East Coast radio, Talk Radio 702 and 947 as well as on independent TV news channel eNCA.  She is an active philanthropist, and passionately supports the Rise Against Hunger charity organization.

Uvile Memory Samkelisiwe Ximba is a creator, maker of things. She is a multidisciplinary artist with experience in theatre, vocal performance, and literature. Uvile completed her Bachelor of Arts Honours in Politics and International Relations and Dramatic Arts at Rhodes University and currently practices as an independent theatre artist and writer.

In another life, Uvile was a cat. And she is currently obsessively questioning how oranges live and die.

Vanessa Cooke is an award winning performer and theatre workshop practitioner. She has performed in over 50 plays, and she has done voice work on radio, TV and for live theatre.
